David James PT, DPT, OCS, SCS-Doctor of Physical Therapy

David is a Colorado native that completed his Bachelor’s degrees in Integrative Physiology and Psychology at the University of Colorado, Boulder and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy through the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is dual board-certified in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy.  He has extensive experience working with athletes of all levels, from recreational to professional, with a major emphasis on the adolescent and collegiate age range. He has extensive experience working with overhead athletes and artistic gymnastics.  In addition to clinical practice at Cascade Sports, David is a core faculty member with the University of Colorado School of Medicine PT program teaching coursework in Anatomy, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. He continually works to improve his knowledge base and clinical skill by attending local and national coursework, as well as teaching continuing medical education.  In his free time, David enjoys the Colorado outdoors and watching college football in the fall.
